The bird island of Runde has more to offer than just puffins! Join BirdLife Møre og Romsdal for a walk along the road on the south side of the island this Sunday in May.

From the roadside, we have a great view of the beaches and fields. Here, we will encounter both local nesting birds and migratory birds arriving from their winter stays in Europe or Africa. Some are continuing further north—Runde is right on their path!

During the walk, nature photographer Hallgeir B. Skjelstad, who lives on the island, will share insights about the birdlife.

We will meet at the parking lot by the cemetery on Runde and walk towards the harbor. The trip will last an hour or two, depending on the weather. Feel free to bring binoculars if you have them.

This is a trip for anyone who loves nature and birdlife. The walk is organized by BirdLife Møre og Romsdal.
