You will find many different species on Runde. In total, 230 different species have been recorded on the island. Some live here all year round, while others return home as nesting season approaches.
Responsible experiences
We are constantly working to develop sustainable experiences. The buildings at Runde Environmental Centre have high energy efficiency, and we have our own recycling stations for guests. Food waste is composted, and we aim to leave as few traces as possible to ensure that Runde remains a wonderful place for the next generation.
