Razorbill

The razorbill can look quite similar to other auks, but if you look closely, you will see that it has an almost entirely black, slightly short, thick beak. It is also dressed in pure black and white with clean lines in its plumage, almost as if someone has dressed it in a fine tuxedo. The razorbill can often be seen in the evening when you first arrive at the mountain, at Kaldekloven. It has become a rarer sight on the mountain, but if you are attentive, you will be able to spot them.

The razorbill can be distinguished from the puffin by its more elegant flight. If you look closely when it flies, you will also see two white patches behind its wings, and it is somewhat larger than the puffin. The razorbill lays its eggs in crevices and holes in the mountain.
