Opening hours
July
Every day 10:00 - 19:00
Kitchen open from 12:00-17:00, with cold food available at the counter throughout opening hours.
If you wish to book a visit with us outside of scheduled opening hours, please contact us to make an appointment.
You are welcome to visit us for tours, activities, team building, and private events. We also provide catering for all types of events.
The exhibitions and dining services are open during the visitor centre's opening hours.

Experiences
Experience the diversity of nature on guided tours in the mountains or along the shore, get to know the unique seabirds, dive into the history of the Runde Treasure, or jump into adventures like coasteering, shore exploration, and seaweed safaris.
Research
Runde Environmental Centre is an international field station with the mission of establishing Runde as an international research hub for marine coastal ecology. The centre works on developing research and research infrastructure with a strong focus on protecting the ocean, fish, and birds as part of a vulnerable ecosystem. The research is closely linked to the activities at the centre.

Why not bring your friends or colleagues to Runde? The island is the perfect place to gather off the beaten path, surrounded by beautiful nature in an inspiring environment. Participate in tailored activities and team building, where you learn about the interplay between the ocean and the bird cliffs.
