Family activity March 12th - birdhouse building!

The nesting season is just around the corner. The seabirds will soon be returning to Runde, and perhaps small birds in your own garden are getting ready to build nests and lay eggs?

Join us on Sunday, March 12th, for a fun day of birdhouse building at Runde.

The activity starts at 1:00 PM and runs until 4:00 PM.

Price per birdhouse: NOK 100. You will receive pre-cut parts, and we will assemble them together.

All children get free admission to the exhibition and can join one of our nature guides at 3:00 PM to learn about some of the exciting birds that nest on Runde.

You can reserve a birdhouse in advance by emailing booking@runde.no. Otherwise, we will distribute kits while supplies last.

Please bring your own hammer if you have one. Remember to wear appropriate outdoor clothing, as this is an outdoor activity.

The café and exhibition are open from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, serving lunch, dinner, and coffee/cakes.

COMPETITION

Take a photo of your birdhouse once it's hung up by March 19th and tag us on Instagram with #opplevrunde. One lucky winner will receive a nice pair of binoculars for birdwatching.
