Beach trip with a purpose

On our "beach cleanup with a purpose" tour, you will gain a solid foundation for becoming a skilled beach cleaner. During the trip, you will gain insight into the massive problem we have helped create and what is being done to reduce the amount of plastic in the ocean. You will be provided with the necessary equipment for effective cleanup, and accompanied by an experienced plastic cleaner, you will head out to the shoreline. You might be surprised by all the strange things you find, and we will take plenty of time to look at what we are actually cleaning up. After two and a half hours, you will truly feel that you have made a difference!

The tour does not follow a fixed route, but rather traverses uneven terrain where most of the plastic gets stuck in places that can be difficult to reach. It is therefore important to wear good shoes and clothes that can get dirty. We should also not hide the fact that it can be hard work! The activity is a great opportunity to get a proper workout out in the fresh air.

Practical info

Since the tour takes place on the shoreline, we recommend good shoes with ankle support. Western Norway is a place with harsh weather, so it is wise to bring waterproof outerwear and practical, warm clothing. We also encourage you to bring a dry change of clothes, including shoes.

In addition, you should bring:

-         Hat and gloves if it is cold
